The mission of the Metrolina Football Officials Association is to uphold a high standard of ethics by promoting fair play, good sportsmanship, and mutual understanding among officials, coaches, and the general public. This commitment ensures effective and professional officiating in high school football. Our goals include maintaining and improving officiating standards through a diverse membership of experienced and new officials, who possess exceptional knowledge of rules and mechanics and maintain the physical fitness necessary for the game.

We strive to create a positive and equitable environment within our membership, fostering camaraderie and enhancing relationships with coaches, school and state administrators, the Regional Supervisor, and the public. Additionally, we aim to provide an environment that supports personal development through sportsmanship, character education, teamwork, leadership, and citizenship, aligning with the educational values of North Carolina.
