Application Process Overview

Becoming a member of the Metrolina Football Officials Association (MFOA) is a rewarding opportunity for those passionate about football and dedicated to upholding the integrity of the game. Follow these steps to start your journey with MFOA:
- Step 1: Online Application
The first step in the application process is to complete the preliminary application form. This form helps us get to know you better and assess your initial qualifications. Use the additional information field to include your availability, motivation for becoming a sports official, or any additional details we might find helpful when reviewing your application. - Step 2: Submit Your Application
Once you have completed the preliminary application form below, press the send application button and wait for the confirmation message to appear. Ensure all required fields are filled out accurately and completely to avoid any delays in processing your application. - Step 3: Application Review
After submitting your preliminary application, the MFOA review committee will evaluate your qualifications and experience. This review process typically takes 1-3 weeks. During this time, we may contact you for additional information or clarification. - Step 4: Interview and Assessment
If your preliminary application is approved, you will be invited to participate in an interview and assessment session. - Step 5: Training & Certification Successful candidates from the interview and assessment session will be enrolled in our training program. Upon completion of the training program, you will receive certification as an MFOA official.
- Step 6: Joining the MFOA
Congratulations! After completing the training and certification, you will officially become a member of the Metrolina Football Officials Association. You will be assigned officiating duties and continue to receive support and development opportunities from MFOA.
